I was touring the Victoria and Albert museum in London, and I went to an exhibit about world religions. I was drawn to a Buddhist display where I read something along the lines of "If we all knew how short life is, conflict would cease". I tucked this gem into my memory and a year or two later, with the help of my boss loop station, it developed into this song.
